Allergy mites most commonly happen and can affect anybody inside your household or your workplace. How to Prevent Allergy Mites
- Keep your surroundings clean and cool. : Dust mites will only thrive in unclean and humid places. Keep your home and your office cubicle free of dust. Dust mites also thrive in warm temperature. Keep your home air conditioning cool and dry.
- Load up in lots of Vitamin C, A, and, E.: Eat the right kind of food to help boost your immune system. Fruits and vegetable rich in Vitamins C, A, and E should be included in your daily meals.
- Drink lots of water. : Hydrate your body and you get as much energy and protection for the rest of your day. Go for fresh fruit juices instead of concentrated ones.
- Wear protective face masks. : Especially if you use the public transport, wear face masks even if it looks awkward and weird commuting with them on. It is best to look funny with the mask on rather than exposing yourself to the toxins in all around you.
- Practice proper body hygiene. : You don’t have to be a child to be reminded of bathing and brushing your teeth regularly. Proper body hygiene is your defense against allergens that you acquire during the day.
- Bathe your pets regularly. : Your dog or cat may be housing fleas or bugs that are also main sources of allergy. Aside from primarily protecting yourself, your pet is entitled to being taken care of, too.
- Take proper medication.: Antihistamines are very much available in the drugstore if you don’t have stocks in your medicine cabinet. Keep a few tablets handy in your purse so you are prepared for allergy attacks anytime, anywhere.
